Where Did You Learn To Dance?

   

Say hello to the Hill Creek Talent Show 2016 runner ups, Colin and Emma Brenchley! Whoop, whoop! Considering we put this tap piece only several days before, I'm pretty proud the two of us. The 2nd place prize was a $100 gift card to Amazon, but we haven't decided what we're going to spend it on yet. =) The song we used was from the 1953 movie I Love Melvin starring Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds, our favorite old-time Hollywood duo.

Rilla: Pre Pointe Perfection

Every Monday I head over to PacWest Performing Arts for ballet and pre pointe classes. 2 hours total!!

On January 6,  I finally got demi pointe shoes. The difference between pointe and demi pointe is that demi pointes do not go over the toes, and allow the dancer to gradually build up muscle for pointe shoes.

SHS Swim Team Award Banquet

Hardest Worker

Last Wednesday, the high school had its award banquet for its swim team. Where they give out awards, eat food, and gather the last time as a team for the season. For the awards I was voted by my teammates as "Most inspirational," "Hardest Worker" and also was elected captain. Here are a few pictures of this exciting event.
